Hennessy Pure White Cognac (also known as White Hennessy or Hennessy White) is a rare sight, and something that can typically only be found in the Caribbean, at duty free shops, or at the Hennessy distillery in Cognac, France. It can occasionally be found for sale online at a steep markup. Even though it's quite popular among in-the-know drinkers, the distinctive cognac is not marketed in the U.S.—it's not even featured on the brand's U.S. website, though it does appear on international versions.

The double-distilled Hennessy Pure White is fruity young cognac with floral aromas alongside sweet fruits like grapes, apples, and pears. It's light on the palate and easy-drinking, absent the strong oak flavors present in many of Hennessy's other bottles, instead showing a lively presence of grapes, white spring flowers, and honey. That's because this elixir is made from an intriguing blend of eaux-de-vie aged between two and 50 years that hails from the Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne, Borderies, and Fins Bois regions. The eaux-de-vie were selected for their distinctive clarity and minimal wood influence.
